The majestic beast furrowed his brow as he turned to face me.

Drawing a deep, contrived breath, He effortlessly shifted his body broadside while slowly turning his head to look into my eyes.

Grimacing, He put his large ears back which lay in the shadows of the
sculpted wide beamed antlers he wore like a crown.

For a moment, we stood in silence.

Then, like a short, muted melody, breath eased from each side of
his muzzle and drifted like two small clouds that disappeared into the cold December night.

In that moment…..like magic

He vanished
